PEACH WINE

Crafting wines and spirits is an ancestral practice and is used as medicine, in religious ceremony as well as recreation. Our ancestors didn't limit themselves to a single fruit, like grapes, and instead made use of all of nature’s seasonal abundance. This bottle of Peach wine was made from fresh hand picked peaches, processed and fermented by Gabrielle Knox, co founder of theJOYproject, here in Detroit.

Seed saving is an archival practice and the seeds from the peaches used to make the wine are displayed in a container next to the bottle of wine
