After the long process of growing cotton then turning it to thread, the next step was creating textiles. This white crochet bedspread was hand made by Clara Louise Allen, Josmine’s maternal Great Grandmother in the early 1900s. The indigo textile was hand made in Benin and comes from Josmine’s personal collection
